Ancestry of Rosalie Hanlin Guthrie

"Rosie said that there would be a few changes later because the Methodist Conference correspondence posted by Doris BENNETT is revealing information that had not been available before."

(Now, these are the dates that I have on the 1st 2 generation, in fact is flat all that I know & if there has been a change, or more information now available, please let me know! As well as more current spouse verification. I have had this for several years & there may have been some new discoveries that I do not know about.)

Do you know where either one of them were born or died??]

[Not so sure that it has ever been confirmed that he WAS a s/o Lewis PIPKIN - has it? Think that Lewis was the only PIPKIN around in the area at the time - am I right?]

[He was a diabetic & weighed over 300 pounds!] There was no way that his body could be transported back to AR by wagon, would get a tad odorous & explode!, so he was buried in the Ethel Cemetery, Tioga, Grayson Co, TX. He was visiting my grandfather, William Elihu SANDERS & his first family at the time, as well as visiting the mineral springs there to SOAK daily for his various ailments.

[At the time that my grandmother, Edwin Elizabeth, & my dad, Emmert Leslie died, the Memorial Park Cemetery was in Oklahoma City. It was annexed into the City of Edmond about 20 years ago.]
