Lewis Pipkin and others -- Ex Parte

Petition for Sale of Land

It appearing that Jesse Pipkin, Archibald Pipkin, Daniel Pipkin, Jacob Herring and wife Clarissa, Daniel Keathly and wife Hannah, Carolin, Archibald, Marshall, Pipkin, and Jerry, children of Polly Keathly, are not inhabitants of this State: it is therefore adjudged that publication be made in the Fayetteville Observer for six weeks, for said non-residents personally to be and appear before the Judge of our Court of Equity, to be held for the County of Cumberland, on the seventh Monday after the fourth Monday in September next, then and there to plead, answer to or demur, or the same will be taken as confessed, and set for hearing ex-parte.

Witness, Arch'd A. T. Smith, Clerk and Master of our said Court of Equity, at Office, the 7th Monday after the 4th Monday of March, 1853.
