Land Sale in North Carolina - The Fayetteville Observer of the 16th [January] 1854

The home place of the late Stewart Pipkin, 20 miles from this town, on the Raleigh road, 145 acres, with a small dwelling and good out-houses, was sold Thursday last at $19.25 per acre. This was an unexpectedly high price; showing that real estate is decidely appreciating in this part of the State.
