Services for Hermon Clyde Pipkin, Jr. were Friday (19th) in 
Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore, pastor of
First Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery.

Mr. Pipkin died Wednesday (17th). He was born 19 Oct 1914 in
Amarillo, the son of Hermon Clyde, Sr. and Mamie Fields Pipkin.
He attended Kemper Military School of Univ. of Texas. Graduating
from Univ. of Texas Law School in 1938. He practiced law in a
number of firms in Amarillo. He was 47th Judicial District
Attorney from 1950-53. He served in Air Transport Command in
WWII for four years. He married June Callahan in Amarillo in
1939.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter Boo Pipkin Kemp of 
Lubbock; a sister, Patricia Pipkin of Amarillo; and three
grandchildren.
