Inez M. Pipkin, 91, Sacremento, CA, formerly of Kansas City area,
passed away Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at the Sutter Oaks Nursing 
Center in Sacramento. Funeral services were 3 p.m. Friday, Arpil
5, at the Newcomer Floral Hills Chapel, burial in Florial Hills
Cemetery.

Mrs. Pipkin was born July 3, 1904 in Simmons, MO and had lived
in the Kansas City area most of her life before moving to California
15 years ago. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a 
sister, Katherine M. Wilkerson, in 1986.

Survivors include a son, Gus Pipkin, Jr., Rocklin, CA; two sisters,
Ruby I. Vaughn, Ozark, MO and Barbara J. Allen, Raytown, MO and
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

[Inez Shilling, daughter of John Henry and Isabell Hern Shilling,
married Gustavus Adolphus "Gus" Pipkin in July 1919. There were
separated and then divorced in 1942. Gus Pipkin, Jr. and his son,
Terry Gene Pipkin were members of the PFA in 1988. William Philip
