Tabitha Pipkin Deed to John Pipkin, 27 Feb 1796

This Indenture made this 27th day February 1796 Between Tabitha Pipkin of the County of Northampton In the State of No Carolina of the one hand & John Pipkin of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Tabitha Pipkin for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Pounds Virginia Money to her in hand Paid by the said John Pipkin the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged & the said Tabitha Pipkin hath granted Bargained sold made over & Confirmed and do by these Presents Bargain Sell make over and Confirm unto the said John Pipkin his heirs and assigns forever all that mesage Tract or Parcel of Land and Plantation with all and Singular its appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in anywise appertaining to the same to the said John Pipkin Containing by estimation Two Hundred Acres more of less joyning the Lands of Samuel Cryer the Lands Belonging to the Heirs of Nicholas Washington & Graflin Inland Lying on the Turky Swamp and main Roads being in the County of Northampton and State of Noth Carolina aforesaid to have and to hold afore said Tract or Parcel of Land & Plantation as before described with all and Singular Its appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appurtaining to the same to the said John Pipkin his heirs Extrs Adms and assigns For ever and to no other use or person whatsoever and the said Tabitha Pipkin for herself her heirs Extrs Adms &c the aforesaid Bargained Premisis with all and singular the appertanances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appertaining to the Land to the said John Pipkin his heirs Exrs Admrs and assigns will warrent and forever defend against the Lawful Claim of all and Every Person & Persons whatsoever Claiming thereto In Witness whereof I have Hereunto set my hand & seale the day & Date first above written.
